Pride, Hypocrisy and Sociability: Bernard Mandeville's Political Philosophy

Dr Robin Douglass is Reader in Political Theory at King’s College London. Much of Robin’s research to date has focused on the thought of Thomas Hobbes and Jean-Jacques Rousseau, resulting in a monograph Rousseau and Hobbes: Nature, Free Will, and the Passions (OUP, 2015).
